Revision History:
I started run50miles.org as my first fund-raising project for homeless children in metro Atlanta. My goal was raise at least $2500 during the time that I trained for a 50 mile trail race, the Mountain Masochist 50 Mile Race in Lynchburg, VA.
The entire experience from race training, to reaching, and exceeding, my fund raising goals, to actually running the race was something that I will never forget.
While I have gone on to run more and more ultras, and thus growing the run50miles.org web site, this particular racing experience at the Mountain Masochist will serve as one of the feats in which I am most proud.

"I am tossing around CC and considering against Mountain RATS, Grand Tetons, and Wasatch"
Either one is tough. GT is looping 4 times and might be a bit boring for that, but the creweing is best of all. Wasatch is second toughest after HR, so be aware. CC is beautiful, yet low key and tough. I am not sure what exactly are you looking for. Let me know if I can help, my email is on my main page.
